The Apple Vision Pro is now available to pre-order in the UK and if you want to get your hands on one then here’s all you need to know.
The US has long had the monopoly on Apple’s first-ever virtual/augmented reality headset but now it is finally making its way to other countries around the world, including the UK.
Because the Vision Pro is unlike any other product that Apple has put out however, there are a few things you need to know before putting down your hard earned cash to get one, so to make sure you’re prepared for the process, here’s all you need to know about pre-ordering the Apple Vision Pro in the UK.
How can I pre-order the Vision Pro?
If you’re already familiar with the Apple Vision Pro ordering process in the US, then you won’t be too surprised as the company has followed the same strategy here in the UK.
Unlike most of Apple’s products, the Vision Pro isn’t available at third-party vendors, so you’ll only be able to nab it directly from the Apple Store. However, you can order it eithervia the Apple Store website, its app or by heading into your local branch.
The reason for the exclusivity is that you need to take a scan of your face with either an iPhone or Face ID compatible iPad, which will then determine the size of your head and point you in the direction of the right head-strap that’s best suited.
You can also book a 30-minute in-store demo with the Apple Vision Pro to make sure that you’re happy with everything before you part with any money, which is definitely worth taking Apple up on given just how much the headset costs.
When will the Apple Vision Pro launch in the UK?
Apple is now taking pre-orders for the Vision Pro in the UK, with the official launch set for Friday, July 12th.
